Pioneering Gradient

Set to renovate their permanent Portland downtown store through 2024, Nike moved into a temporary, two-story, 11,000-square foot location in the Pioneer Place mall across the street in early spring.

With a quick deadline to opening day, High Order was brought in to apply a new color gradient throughout the store, (that’s paint, not vinyl!), hand painted court-style lines along the walls, wayfinding graphics, laser cut & gradient-painted dimensional lettering and vinyl window graphics.

The short timeline and dynamic space gave the work an athletic feel and working so closely alongside other vendors required an expression of teamwork from every side. This was a fun and challenging project for us; thank you to Nike for putting us in the starting lineup for this one.
